Retention policy
How long we keep your photos, what happens when retention ends, and how to keep or download them.
Overview
Photos in your albums are stored so you can manage them, run a live slideshow, and optionally share a post-event gallery. They are not kept forever — retention depends on your plan. You can download your photos to your computer at any time while the album is active.
Retention by plan
| Plan | Photo limit | Retention from album creation |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Up to 10 photos | 30 days |
| Standard — £24.99 | Up to 200 photos | 3 months |
| Plus — £49.99 | Up to 500 photos | 5 months |
| Pro — £79.99 | Up to 1,000 photos | 12 months |
See prices for full plan details. Retention is counted from the date the album was created.
What happens when retention ends?
When the retention period for your plan expires, photos and associated data for that album are permanently deleted from our storage. The album will no longer be accessible. This includes originals and thumbnails.
We recommend downloading anything you want to keep well before the end date. You are responsible for backing up important memories.
Extending retention
Need to keep an album longer? You can pay a small fee to extend retention before or after your plan expires (subject to availability). Contact us with your album details and we will help you arrange an extension.
Downloading your photos
You can download photos at any time from your album while it is active:
- Browse photos in My Albums and save individual images
- Use the public gallery (if enabled) to let guests save their copies
- Contact us if you need help exporting a large album
Deleting photos early
As album owner you can delete individual photos at any time. Deletion is permanent and removes them from storage, the slideshow, and any gallery.
Account closure
If you delete your account or we terminate it under our terms, associated albums and photos may be deleted in line with this policy.
Our approach to your content
We store photos only to provide the service you signed up for. We don’t use them for marketing or browse albums for other purposes. See our privacy policy.
