What is Live Party Photos?

Live Party Photos is a service for event hosts. You create an album, share a QR code with guests, and photos appear in your album and on a live slideshow - no app download required for guests.

Do guests need an account?

No. Guests scan your QR code or open your upload link, pick or take a photo, and submit. Only hosts need an account to create and manage albums.

How does the slideshow work?

Each album has a full-screen slideshow link you can open on a TV or projector. New uploads can appear straight away or join the end of the rotation - you choose. You can customise the photo style (default, white border, polaroid), captions, frame colours, and timing.

Can I print a QR poster?

Yes. From your album QR Code page you can download a PDF poster with your QR code, themed to match your upload page colours.

Can guests add their name or a message?

Yes, if you enable it when creating the album. Names and messages can show on the slideshow as an overlay, popup, or on a polaroid-style caption.

Can I delete photos I don’t want?

Yes. As the album owner you can delete any photo from your Photos page. Deleted photos are removed from the slideshow and storage.

What is the public gallery?

After your event you can enable a public gallery link so guests can browse and save photos. This is optional and off by default. Only share the link with people you trust.

How long are photos stored?

It depends on your plan. Free albums are kept for 30 days; paid plans offer longer retention - see our retention policy and prices. You can download your photos at any time from your album.

How does AI photo moderation work?

Every album includes AI content moderation by default. When a guest uploads a photo, it is scanned automatically for explicit content before it can appear on your slideshow. Clean photos are approved straight away. Anything flagged is held in your moderation queue for you to approve or reject.

You can change this in album settings: keep AI moderation on (recommended), require manual review for every photo, or turn moderation off entirely if you prefer photos to go straight to the slideshow.

Do you look at or use my photos?

We do not browse through albums or use your content for marketing, advertising, or training. Photos are stored so you and your guests can upload, display, and download them. Uploads are checked automatically by AI for explicit content as part of moderation - only flagged photos are held for your review. See our privacy policy for full details.

What’s included in the free tier?

The free tier includes the full feature set - QR uploads, slideshow, poster, themes, upload page customisation, AI content moderation, and photo management - but is limited to 10 photos per album. It’s ideal for trying the service before an event. See prices for paid upgrades.

How do I upgrade an album?

Paid plans are a one-off fee per album, giving you a higher photo limit and longer retention. Upgrade options are shown on the prices page. (Payment integration coming soon - contact us if you need help before then.)
